The Institute for Educational Achievement held a Dinner Dance, on Saturday, February 2, 2019, at Seasons in Washington Township. Our valentine-themed celebration was attended by more than 200 IEA families, supporters, and guests. During the event IEA presented its first ever Lifetime Achievement Award to Dr. Jeffrey Fisher, Co-founder, Trustee Emeritus, and Capital Campaign Chair for his 23 years of service and tireless efforts on behalf of IEA and all of our students and families.
We would like to extend our gratitude to Season’s Event Planner Michelle and Maitre D’ Karlee, and the entire Seasons staff for providing our guests with wonderful cuisine and attentive service. Thanks to Frank Ritter for capturing so many great moments with his photographic expertise. Thanks to Willie Wilson, our fabulous DJ for keeping the dance floor hopping, and to Magician extraordinaire Mike Spade of Gemini Entertainment for amazing our guests with his talents. Our appreciation and thanks go to Joanne Dowling and Diane Lento, Event Chairs, and Committee Members Amy Appell, Tony Censullo, and Lisa Picinic for all of their efforts in making this celebration a memorable one for IEA.
IEA held it’s first ever Luau Party recently on a picture-perfect June evening at the Hackensack Golf Club Pool. The idyllic setting was swinging and swaying with the sights and sounds of the islands for the pleasure of our guests. Thank you to all who were able to join us for this fun and festive evening.
Special thanks to Norm Forsyth and the incredible Hackensack Golf Club staff for providing a wide variety of exotic and not so exotic beverages, a truly authentic Hawaiian Cocktail Buffet, and their impeccable attention to all of our guests needs.
Thank you as well to Edgar Music Entertainment for keeping the music flowing, and to Anna Pipoyan for providing the wonderful hula and fire dancers who entertained and taught our guests the fundamentals of hula dancing.
Last, but certainly not least, our deepest appreciation to our event committee who worked tirelessly to ensure the success of this event. IEA's 23rd Annual Golf Outing
IEA’s 23rdAnnual Golf Classic was held on Monday, October 1stat the Hackensack Golf Club, a beautiful early autumn day!
Our sincerest thanks to everyone who participated in making this year’s event a success, including more than 130 golfers, corporate and individual sponsors, and those who donated items for our raffle and auctions. Your participation in the Annual Golf Classic helps IEA provide state-of-the art programs to meet the needs of all of the individuals we serve, and empower them with the skills and tools needed to achieve their fullest potential.
We thank Tournament Chairs Frank Lento and Frank Salerno, and Committee Members Diane Lento, Tonia Polvere, and Maria Zenzius for their dedication and efforts to make this a wonderful day for IEA. Special thanks go to Matt Colligan for donating his time and talent to entertain our guests during the cocktail hour. We also extend our gratitude to Norm Forsyth, and the entire Hackensack Golf Club staff, for coordinating another great day for all our guests.
