Fun with the Angels

Special thanks to the students of the Holy Angels Academy who selected IEA for their In Service Day this year. Emma Quigley, Trainer of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) for our Adult Life Skills Program, and a Holy Angels alumni, gave a presentation about the work we do every day at IEA, and then the girls were given a tour of both our Education and Adult Life Skills programs. The rest of their morning was spent interacting with IEA’s learners playing games like Bingo, Trouble, Jenga, and Connect 4.

Our learners enjoyed having these lovely girls spend time with them today and we all look forward to seeing them again next year!

NEXT for Autism

Last night, our learners had the opportunity to be a part of the NEXT for Autism Night of Too Many Stars Event at the Beacon Theatre. Dane, Hannah, and Justin met, and interacted with, many celebrities backstage who were all very gracious by giving their time.

A debt of gratitude is extended to Michelle and Robert Smigel and the entire NEXT for Autism team for including IEA’s learners. John Stewart, as always, was an incredible host! We are extremely grateful that NEXT supports the work of IEA!
