Testing of Lead in School Drinking Water

Testing of Lead in School Drinking Water Notification

The State Department of Education requires all schools to test for lead in all drinking water outlets. IEA is committed to protecting the health of our students and staff. With that in mind, and in order to comply with the State Department of Education regulations, testing of all drinking water outlets was conducted on April 9, 2022. The samples were evaluated by Eurofins QC, which is a DOE approved New Jersey certified laboratory. IEA is pleased to announce that there were no problems detected from any water sources at IEA. All samples indicated lead levels well below the maximum allowable number of 15 parts per billion.
