Testing of Lead in School Drinking Water

Testing of Lead in School Drinking Water Notification

The State Department of Education requires all schools to test for lead in all drinking water outlets. IEA is committed to protecting the health of our students and staff. With that in mind, and in order to comply with the State Department of Education regulations, testing of all drinking water outlets was conducted on April 9, 2022. The samples were evaluated by Eurofins QC, which is a DOE approved New Jersey certified laboratory. IEA is pleased to announce that there were no problems detected from any water sources at IEA. All samples indicated lead levels well below the maximum allowable number of 15 parts per billion.

Exciting News!

If you ever wondered what your support does, stop and listen to this podcast (link below). While this podcast discusses aspects to financial planning, it also discussed the journey of one family.

Diane Lento is one of IEA’s Founders, and the parent of 33-year-old Kate, who has been at IEA since she was 5. Today, Kate is markedly different than who she was nearly three decades ago…so is Diane. For those of you who have been on the autism journey, everything Diane says probably rings true. For those who are beginning your journey, listen to the words that are spoken.

For those of you who have supported IEA past and present, thank you for joining us in our journey where TOGETHER, we continue to help Kate, her family, and all IEA students and their families! Without you, this would not be possible!
