June is the month we all celebrate Father’s Day, and the learners at IEA are no exception. This year we started a new tradition! On June 11th all of the IEA Fathers and Grandfathers were invited to Donuts with Dad. The afternoon was the perfect opportunity for Dads to visit their child at school, spend some time creating a craft, enjoy a favorite snack, and most of all share some time celebrating their special bonds.

Last night, our learners had the opportunity to be a part of the NEXT for Autism Night of Too Many Stars Event at the Beacon Theatre. Dane, Hannah, and Justin met, and interacted with, many celebrities backstage who were all very gracious by giving their time.
A debt of gratitude is extended to Michelle and Robert Smigel and the entire NEXT for Autism team for including IEA’s learners. John Stewart, as always, was an incredible host! We are extremely grateful that NEXT supports the work of IEA!
