26th Annual Golf Classic

While effects of COVID-19 linger on, traditions are still so very important, and thus IEA’s 26th Annual Golf Classic was held on Monday, October 4th at the Hackensack Golf Club. In spite of a bit of a challenge from Mother Nature at the end of the day, we had a full course of golfers all eager and happy to play this challenging course.

Our sincerest thanks to everyone who participated in making this year’s event a success, including our golfers, corporate and individual sponsors, and those who donated items for our online auctions.  All funds raised from this event helps IEA provide state-of-the art intervention to meet the needs of all of the individuals we serve, and empower them with the skills and tools needed to achieve their fullest potential.

We thank Tournament Chairs Chris Comey, Frank Lento, and Frank Salerno, and Committee Members, Maria Bushman, Diane Lento, Joanne Novarro, and Joanne Salerno for their dedication and efforts to make this a wonderful day for IEA. Special thanks to the employees from HWP Group who volunteered throughout the day; your assistance helped to make our course games run smoothly. We also extend our sincerest gratitude to Norm Forsyth, and the entire Hackensack Golf Club staff, for coordinating another great event for all of our guests.

NEXT for Autism

Last night, our learners had the opportunity to be a part of the NEXT for Autism Night of Too Many Stars Event at the Beacon Theatre. Dane, Hannah, and Justin met, and interacted with, many celebrities backstage who were all very gracious by giving their time.

A debt of gratitude is extended to Michelle and Robert Smigel and the entire NEXT for Autism team for including IEA’s learners. John Stewart, as always, was an incredible host! We are extremely grateful that NEXT supports the work of IEA!
